This week I had to find a picture of the letter 'U'. Josh suggested underwear, which more specifically in Cameron's case is a diaper! And since Cameron looks so darn cute in her cloth diapers I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to show that off :)

Tt
Cameron's life goal at this point is to get whatever she can whenever she can in her mouth. She drools like there's no tomorrow and just wants to chew, chew, chew. All teething signs. She may not be cutting a tooth and she may not cut one for months to come but poor girl is definitely already experiencing teething symptoms. So here she is in her never ending quest to chew on anything that will fit in her mouth.

Cameron has a "chew toy" named Sophie. It is a teething toy that a lot of babies really love to chew on. You can tell by Cameron's face that she is ferociously enjoying Sophie!

Qq and Rr
I am late on 'Q' simply because I couldn't think of anything. This photo was taken a couple months ago and Cam looks like she is getting annoyed with the photo shoot. In her head she is questioning me, saying "Mommy, why do we have to do these stupid photo shoots all the time?"
For 'R' I chose Ralph Lauren because she was wearing this little Ralph Lauren onesie which I love. You can see the logo. Cameron is quite the fashionista!

Pp
For 'P' this week I chose the word peaceful to describe Cameron at nap time. She loves to sleep in her boppy and it seems like not a thing in the world could disturb her! It was about 80 degrees yesterday so she was all dressed for summer and just lounging away on what felt like a lazy summer afternoon. We had just gotten back from a walk outside and she was exhausted!
Oh and see that anklet she's wearing? It looks cute but it's not just for style. It is an amber teething anklet. Supposedly the heat of her skin causes the amber to release oils that absorb into her bloodstream and somehow help with teething pain. I have NO idea if it actually works or not, it's one of those old natural practices they have been using on babies forever so I figure it's worth a try! She has been showing a lot of teething symptoms lately and even if she doesn't cut a tooth in the near future her doctor said it is very likely that she's already experiencing some teething pain. Some babies just have the pain and symptoms for a long time before that first tooth pops up. We will see what Cameron does!

Nn
This week's letter is 'N' and while the picture is meant to be highlighting Cameron's nose, I must say would you look at those eyelashes? She is a lucky girl!!

Mm
This one is from January, Cam is probably between 7 and 8 pounds but otherwise it is self explanatory!

Kk, Ll
So I have been completely neglecting my blog but I'm back. We have just been really busy these past weeks and Cameron has been demanding more time from me than usual. Here are my 'K' and 'L' entries for the photo challenge. 'K' is very late and should have debuted almost a week ago so I'm sorry. Don't worry, I will get back into regular posting too!
I can't get enough of her chunky little legs! They used to be so skinny and I just love the rolls!

Jj
I'm a day late for 'J' but here it is. I've already done a similar one so this picture may be a tad bit of a cop out. But I think I have a good one for 'K' this week!

Hh, Ii
I forgot to do an 'H' post last week so I'm combining 'H' and 'I' this week.
So Cameron may not know that she is a Harry Potter fanatic yet, but she will be one day! I guess I should explain this one though. Josh and I both really love Harry Potter. When I was admitted on hospital bed rest we had to do something to kind of pass the time and keep looking forward instead of dwelling on our current situation. If you remember, I was admitted for bed rest with the threat of delivering well before Cameron was considered viable on the outside world. So we decided to start reading Harry Potter. Josh would come to the hospital every day after work and read out loud to Cameron (still in my belly obviously). We figured if we could get through the first and second books, she would have a really great chance at surviving on the outside world. Then every book after that would mean she would have stayed in for even longer and increase her chances even more. Well, we made it through the first three books. It was enough but we wish we could have made it through all seven. Either way, Cameron has been "reading" Harry Potter since before she was even born, and that makes her a Harry Potter fanatic!
First of all, I should mention that Josh was on standby right outside the view of the photo. No, we don't just sit Cameron on top of Penny unattended. Penny is super well behaved around Cameron anyways so I wasn't really concerned. And while I wouldn't say these two are inseparable quite yet, I know one day Cameron will really love Penny, and unfortunately for Penny I'm sure the idea of riding her will be quite appealing to little Cam in a couple of years.

Ee
I am fully aware that I skipped 'E' last week. I don't know what happened but I realized it right after I posted 'F'. Anyways, I'm backtracking this week so here's 'E'.

Daddy's Little Girl. This week the photo is self explanatory :)
Oh and by the way, Cameron is 4 months old today! Can't believe how fast she's growing up :)

For this week I chose the word catsuit. It's kind of a play on words because she's wearing a one piece outfit so it would technically be considered a catsuit. But then there is obviously a cat on the front of it so that makes it a different kind of catsuit. I also considered going with the obvious 'C' is for Cameron but I guess I felt like being more creative than that. Either way it can double as both.
Side note: I realize that last week's pictures were dated January of 2011 at which point she did not even exist. I will probably go back and change it eventually but for now pretend it says 2012. I still need to get used to the new year!

52 week ABC photo challenge
I'm starting a photo challenge where I have to post a picture every week of something that starts with a specific letter of the alphabet. There are 26 letters in the alphabet and 52 weeks in the year so we will go through the alphabet twice. Who knows if I'll be able to keep up with it but I'd like to try! I am really enjoying documenting Cameron's life and having something that I can look back on. This will make it easy for me to look at the year in review because I'll have a bunch of pictures that I can put in an obvious chronological order. One day I would like to take all of the things from my blog, print them out, and make a scrapbook for Cameron to have when she's older and I think this would make for a cute scrapbook.
So I missed the first week of January which was obviously the letter 'A'. I'm putting the first and second week together in this blog. I'm giving my self extra points for the double in this one :)
And for 'B' I chose Babylegs! I love these things, they are like leg warmers for babies. If we're not going out of the house or doing anything special I can just put her in a onesie and babylegs and not worry about her being too cold without pants! It makes diaper changes super easy since I don't have to worry about anything but her onesie.
I think I'm going to add one more thing in these weekly posts, I want to take pictures of all the outfits she wears since she doesn't wear them very long. I love all of her clothes and I wish she could wear everything forever but unfortunately she outgrows stuff so fast! I thought this would be a good place to add them in since it will be a weekly thing and again, I can look through everything in chronological order as she outgrows things but I won't start that until next week.
