Adjusted age: 7 months
Actual age: 10 months, 5 days
Weight: 16 lb 3.3 oz
Height: Probably 25 inches
Diaper size: OS cloth
Clothing size: 3-6 months in almost everything, 6-9 months for footed sleepers
Medications/medical concerns: Just waiting on the echocardiogram for her PDA which is tomorrow.
Sleep: Goes to bed at around 8:00 and wakes up at around 8:00 or 8:30 in the morning. Major sleep regression with sleeping through the night, she has started waking up around 3 times per night. Takes 2-3 naps during the day. Usually a morning nap, afternoon nap around 1:00 and an evening nap around 4:00. Naps usually last for 30-60 minutes.
Eating: Nurses around 8 times in a 24 hour period with the nighttime wakeups, usually 5 times though just during the day. Eats 4 ounces of purees 3 times a day for a total for 12 ounces per day. She is also starting to experiment with finger foods. Currently I give her a mum mum (dissolving rice cake) with her puree meals. She loves her mum mums! Will start with chopped bananas and maybe apples in the next couple of days.
Developmental milestones: Rocks on her hands and knees almost constantly. Starting to try and scoot her knees in a forward movement but still no crawling yet. It will come soon I'm sure though. She is transitioning from a sitting position to hands and knees but she can not get into a seated position from laying down yet. She will now stand by herself holding onto something if we set her up like that (she can not pull herself up to a standing position although she does try). Over the last month she has become MUCH more expressive. She is laughing and smiling much more and expresses much more joy than she used to. She is also more expressive with her language although she is not babbling yet (babababa, dadadada). She does do individual consonants and plenty of vowel sounds just not babbling consonants yet. Starting to experience more stranger anxiety, acts very shy and uncomfortable when first seeing someone for the first time that she hasn't seen in a while, but starts to open up.
Best moment this month: I got two really special videos of Cameron laughing up a storm this month, something I've been previously unable to do as she was a tough crowd and not a lot would get her laughing. But with her new expressiveness she is smiling and laughing at many more things than she used to. I am really enjoying her being more interactive in that way.
And a comparison collage at 1, 3, 5, and 7 months adjusted.
She really is getting huge! And look how much hair she is getting!
